Nurturing Infant Care With Individual Sleep Schedules

Nurturing Infant Care With Individual Sleep Schedules

Our goal in the Infant Room is to provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment in which babies will grow and develop at their own rate. The Infant Room follows a monthly calendar that is filled with fun books, music, crafts, small and large motor skill activities, and sensory activities.

Staffing and Care

Through the assignment of a primary caregiver, your infant will form secure attachments that will help them learn how to adapt socially and emotionally to the world around them.

The Infant Room is led by the Level II teacher and assisted by a Level I teacher and aides.

Ratios and Daily Routines

Our ratio for this room is 1:4. The classroom is split into 2 sections. On the far side are the young infants, and on the other side are the older, mobile infants. Each baby follows his or her own schedule of eating, sleeping, and playing. We mirror the same schedule your baby follows at home. Caregivers and parents exchange a daily journal to share information.

This provides daily parent-to-teacher communication so we can provide the best care possible for your child.
