Rich Beginnings Child Care Center

Where Hands-On Exploration Shapes Young Minds

Our curriculum provides developmentally appropriate, play-based learning that supports children’s social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. Teachers create engaging environments that encourage exploration, creativity, and problem-solving, with lesson plans and routines reflecting each child’s needs, interests, abilities, and cultures. Lead and co-teachers collaborate to observe, document, and assess progress, adapting activities to support all developmental levels and ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience aligned with the center’s philosophy of learning through play and exploration.

Curriculum Goals Include:

  • Promoting curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving
  • Encouraging independence and confidence
  • Supporting early literacy, numeracy, and language development
  • Building positive relationships and self-regulation skills

Each classroom’s curriculum is flexible and individualized to meet the needs of all learners that are age appropriate and including children with developmental differences.
