Our goal in the Infant Room is to provide a safe, loving and stimulating environment in which babies will grow and develop at their own rate. The Infant Room follows a monthly calendar that is filled with fun books, music, crafts, small and large motor skill activities and sensory activities.
Through the assignment of a primary caregiver, your infant will form secure attachments that will help them learn how to adapt socially and emotionally to the world around them. The Infant Room is lead by the Level II teacher and assisted by a Level I and teacher aides.
Our ratio for this room is 1:4. The classroom is split into 2 sections. On the far side is the young infants and the other side are the older, mobile infants. Each baby follows his or her own schedule of eating, sleeping and playing. We mirror the same schedule your baby follows at home. Caregivers and parents exchange a daily journal to share information. This provides daily parent to teacher communication so we can provide the best care possible for your child.
